Life After Theft by Aprilynne Pike

This book was good, yet not exactly what I was expecting.

This book is about new kid Jeff, as he moves to a new town and goes to a private school. He meets Kimberly, a ghost who in her past had a major stealing problem. He also learns that he is the only one that can see her. He agrees to help her return the stuff, but he didn’t know how much she stole or that it was going to take so long.

It was entertaining, but I thought it was going to be based more on Kimberly, but it wasn’t. It was from Jeff’s point of view. Kimberly was more of a minor character with this added problem of her past theft. It wasn’t what I was expecting.

I would say 14+. There was mentions of past drug use, alcohol consumption, swearing, and mentions of other teenage stuff.
